Everyday people all over the world are using the internet to earn cash online and prosper in the economic slow down.
With the slowing economy and rising prices dominating the news, there is a lot of talk about how to cut back and save money. However, there is another way to cope in these tough economic times. According to Greg Davis, creator of http://RecessionKicker.com, a better option is to use the Internet to make money online and increase your income.
"It seems that most stories you see in the media today focus on how to save money to "cope" with high prices, or to survive in this economy. It's about time someone talked about how the average person can earn more money" says internet marketing expert Greg Davis. "People need not feel helpless in these times. Saving, reducing, and cutting back are not the only options- anyone can earn cash online from home with a legitimate home based business."
A very under-reported story is that there has been a literal explosion of legitimate home-based online businesses over the past 2 years. There are thousands of people all over the world making full-time incomes online, and thousands more making substantial part-time incomes, all from the comfort of home.
A big part of this explosion has been the popularity of money making affiliate marketing programs as a legitimate home based business. Affiliates marketers sell products and services owned by others and are paid a commission when a sale is made. Typically, the website, shipping, customer service, and other business functions are all provided by the product owner, which makes it very easy for an individual to break into the business without a big investment. Affiliates sell all types of products online, from name-brand hard goods like electronics and tools, to software and other digital products.
Greg Davis is an internet entrepreneur that has been doing money making affiliate marketing online since 2000. He is the author of RecessionKicker.com, a free 25 minute video that shows new internet marketers how to earn money online with affiliate marketing. The video is called "How to Make $2397.27 Every Day on the Internet", and can be viewed for free at http://recessionkicker.com.

• 2008-Mar-9 - Cialis Vs. Viagra
Cialis Vs. Viagra
By Ispas Marin
Generally, what we understand when we first hear about Cialis is the fact that this is the first true competitor of Viagra as it fights against erectile disfunction as well as the first mentioned. Viagra appeared in 1998 and registered a high success generally for the fact that it was the first product of this kind. Nowadays a new successful product was attributed to ICOS corporation which is to shatter the unbelievable success of Viagra. The series isn't ending here, anyway,as another one called Levitra is expected to appear.
First of all, there should be mentioned that the sell market of Cialis has reached an enormous level which is bound to put aside the success registered by Viagra in the late 90's. What is important is the fact that from around thirty million people suffering from erectile disfunction in the USA and another estimated number of one hundred and seventy five million abroad who are having this disfunction and using these products, only a little part are using Viagra. Viagra has reached this year a total profit of $1,5bn, while the account of money used for these drugs(such as Viagra, Levitra and Cialis) raises up to $6.
Cialis generic viagra Generic Cialis Generic Viagra Generic Cialis Cialis Viagra Cialis Levitra Viagra
Similar to the case of Viagra, Cialis should be understood as a general performance provider, to just a regular treatment for the ailment. Anyone of us should know that there is a specific process of these medication which makes them be so successful, while constantly improving our lives: they work by blocking an enzyme named phosphodiesterase (which happens to relax some of our muscles), this way allowing a certain growth of the blood flow in your penis.
Another advantage gained by Cialis over Viagra is the fact that it is available(by prescription only) in countries like the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Australia and it is ought to be approved in USA too.
Moreover, a common argument brought in favor of Cialis is the fact that it has more rapid effects than Viagra; The starting process can be reached at approximately sixteen minutes after taking the pill, while the entire process can lead up to twenty four hours or more. In contrast to that, by taking Viagra one may feel the effects after one hour and have them for four hours upmost.
Lipitor Viagra Cialis Levitra Propecia Xenical Viagra Soft Tabs Cialis Soft Tabs Zocor Limewire Online Pharmacy Soma
Like Viagra, an estimated number of eighty percent of the people who have tried Cialis have had the opportunity and chance in the mean time to have an erection as well as sexual acts but in comparison with Viagra, the effects and potential of the user lasted for more than thirty six hours after taking the pill;in this period of time the effects were almost constant. A possible explanation for this is the fact that Cialis persists longer in the body than Viagra does. The period of time for blood levels to fall fifty percent for Viagra records four hours, while Cialis makes it up to seventeen hours. This can signify that a twenty five percent of the original doze of Cialis is still in the body at that time.
To conclude, it may be said that Cialis has finally shattered the’ unbreakable’ myth of Viagra by adding more tough points to the well-known advantages of Viagra. Logically, it is of a higher quality technique than Viagra this being the reason for the extreme surpassing. Let’s hope things will not remain this way and will improve more and more up to perfection
Cialis is a new drug used to treat erectile dysfunction, buy Cialis from http://www.cialis.li/uk/index.htm for great prices in France, UK, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and many more.

• 2008-Feb-9 - The High Cost Of ED Medications - Finding Alternatives Sources To Prescription Impotence Meds
By Bob Mann
Men who suffer from erectile dysfunction know full well the trade offs involved in treating the impotence condition.
Until recently the choices were to give up enjoying a healthy and active sex life or pay high prices for erectile dysfunction remedies such as Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra.
The cost of the Viagra pills alone is out of the reach of many families who may not have health insurance that covers the price of filling that prescription. But on top of that, men have had to consider the additional cost and inconvenience of scheduling a doctors appointment, taking time off from work to go see the doctor, taking the prescription to the pharmacy, waiting for it to be filled or returning later to pick it up.
Lipitor Viagra Cialis Levitra Propecia Xenical Viagra Soft Tabs Cialis Soft Tabs Zocor Limewire Online Pharmacy Soma
And lets face it, who really wants to go into the doctors office to talk about the inability to get an erection? Avoiding the cost of Viagra is not the only things on the minds of these men - often just the embarrassment alone is enough to cause them to not seek the treatment for their impotence condition.
Some men who need to treat their erectile dysfunction condition with medications have looked to the online pharmacies as a source of inexpensive, even cheap, Viagra. Having heard that sometimes things are more available and cheaper online, patients were often surprised to learn that brand name Viagra can actually cost much more when purchased online.
Guys wanting to find cheap viagra online had sometimes heard of alternatives that was available without a prescription. And it is true that one can get alternatives inexpensively buy purchasing herbal viagra from an online source that sells generic erection medications. Viagra is after all simply a brand name impotence drug that is actually made of sildenafil citrate. All over the world sildenafil citrate is sold to men with problems getting an erection under various names.
You can expect to pay around $1 a pill for herbal viagra alternative and generally you'll receive the impotence cure in a matter of days without the inconvenience of a doctors visit, filling the prescription, etc.
Bob Mann counsels and advises men with ED and he recommends MaxErectionHelp for top customer service, 100% approval, and same day shipping.

The Lost Experience - Failure of Plot, Success of Commercialism
By Groshan Fabiola
“The Lost Experience”, a creation of ABC and their advertising partners, was to be an immersive portal for “Lost” viewers to be part of a tiny, lurid slice of the “Lost” universe. In the beginning, it was the story of The Hanso Foundation, a seemingly benevolent corporation with a dark secret, a secret that a mysterious hacker named Persephone was intent to reveal.
There were codes to be solved, clues to follow, and a mystery to solve. As time went on, the millions of followers of the game came to know the good guys and bad guys of the game: The hacker Persephone was really the waifish Rachel Blake, on a personal mission to bring down the man; the defiant conspiracy radio-show jock DJ Dan, whose nemesis was -- you guessed it -- The Hanso Foundation; Alvar Hanso himself, the super rich head of the foundation which bears his namesake mysteriously missing; Thomas Mittlewerk, man of science with a shady past. The allusions to “Lost” were often tenuous at best, but tantalizing to fans of the series hopeful for a glimpse into the universe of the show.
KaZaa LimeWire
Over the summer, an agonizingly slow exposition revealed the following story: A mathematician created a formula for predicting the end of mankind. His work was eventually suppressed, even a book by the famed author Gary Troup (who also wrote "Bad Twin", the manuscript of which made a cameo on “Lost” during season two) has disappeared, but unbeknownst to everyone, the formula had been solved, and human kind had precious little time left.

• 2007-Dec-25 - Get Songs You Want Legally at No Cost with Free Music Downloads
Get Songs You Want Legally at No Cost with Free Music Downloads
by W R Kirk
It's all over the news these days. Download music from the Internet and you could be sued, fined, and/or go to jail. The truth is free music downloads, done correctly, are completely legal.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) aggressively prosecutes copyright violators. And well they should - it's piracy plain and simple. But there are millions of free mp3 downloads legally available. RIAA doesn't want you to know this and wants you to believe any music downloads you don't pay for are illegal. You'll quickly attract RIAA's attention by using file-sharing services like Kazaa and Grokster. The technology is not illegal (yet), but using it to share downloadable music is at best a grey area. And make no mistake, RIAA can and will find you! BearShare
How do I get Free Downloadable Music without breaking the law?
First understand the difference between restricted and unrestricted copyrights. Nearly all songs have an artist or record label copyright. Many copyrights restrict gratis downloads. But many musicians want to share their music at no charge through free downloads. Why, you might ask? Some are unknowns looking for exposure, but many famous musicians know it's in their interest to offer free downloads. It inevitably leads to more CD, concert and merchandise sales. Plus it boosts their image and popularity. Bearshare
Most music download services offer a free trial period when you can download songs at no cost. Cancel before the trial ends and the songs cost nothing. Of course they hope you'll stay and pay the monthly membership fee, which in reality is a cheap way to expand your music collection.
Study the membership terms as some sites only allow use of the downloads while you are a member. In addition, a "free music" search will lead to sites - by or for musicians - that offer mp3 downloads for free.

• 2007-Dec-21 - Seecrets On Security
Seecrets On Security
Stan Seecrets
The recent explosive growth of PCs and Internet-based commerce has significantly increased the need for a wide variety of computer security mechanisms. This article, the second of a three-part series, lays the underlying foundation in plain language.
A slightly longer series of articles "Keeping Your Secrets Secret" will examine practical examples in greater detail and provides useful tips and advice. Of course, these will continue with the theme of making crypto and computer security easily understood.
One-Way Hash
Also known as a one-way function, a message digest, a fingerprint or a checksum, the algorithm creates a fixed-length output that cannot be reversed. One-way hashes provide checksums to validate files, create digital certificates and played a central part in many authentication schemes.
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/member.php?u=75841 http://forums.spry.com/member.php?u=9290 http://forums.ugo.com/member.php?u=45199
Let us consider this example. For ages, the Chinese have a fortune-telling method that relies on "Ba Ji" (eight characters) which uses the time, day, month and year of birth according to their calendar. There are sixty possibilities (almost equal to 6 bits) for each of the four variables. Since the Chinese use two characters for each variable, the result is always eight characters. This is an example of a nonsecure 24-bit one-way hash.
Obviously, this way of producing a one-way hash is not acceptable for security purposes because of the huge number of collisions (different inputs producing the same output).
The most commonly used hashes are SHA-1 (Secure Hash Algorithm uses 160 bits) and MD5 (Message Digest uses 128 bits). In August 2005, a team of cryptographers led by Xiaoyun Wang of Shandong University, China, presented a paper that found faster ways of finding collisions than the usual brute force method. These exploits (vulnerabilities) may make digital certificates forgery a reality.
The implications to e-commerce may be widespread not to mention the millions of websites which used MD5 to hash the users passwords in their databases. Any webmaster can tell you that converting these sites to use SHA-256 or SHA-512 will not be a trivial task.
http://forums.ugo.com/member.php?u=45199 Cheap Car Insurance Cheap Car Insurance Ares Cingular Ringtones Verizon Ringtones
In a recent directive, NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology, U.S.A.) has advised U.S. governmental agencies to use SHA-256 or SHA-512 (256 and 512 bits respectively) instead.
Biometrics
A biometric device is one that can identify unique characteristics from a finger, eye or voice. Many believe that biometrics should provide a higher level of security than other forms of authentication.
There is a news story in March 2005 of how a Malaysian owner lost his Mercedes car and index finger to car thieves armed with machetes. Obviously the keyless ignition electronics cannot detect whether the finger is still part of the original body nor whether the finger (and by extension the person) is alive or not.
Recent security breaches have heightened concern over depositories of personal information stored on many financial sites. When such breaches occurred, the incidence of identity thefts will thus rise also.
If you lose your credit card, you can always void the card and get a new one. When you lose your fingerprint (stored digitally), or other biometric features, who can replace those?
Passwords
When asked to conjure a random number or characters, most people inevitably used materials that are familiar to them like birthdays, names of family members, pets names and so forth.
For example, most will choose dates when asked to choose a six-digit number for their ATM Personal Identification Number (PIN). Doing so will reduce the number of possibilities by nine times.
Random Numbers and Generators
Random numbers are central to crypto. To qualify as true random numbers, the output from random number generators (RNG) must pass statistical tests of randomness. Two suites considered as de facto standards are the "diehard" suite developed by Prof. George Marsaglia of State University of Florida and "Statistical Test Suite" from NIST.
Second, the RNGs output must be unpredictable even with complete knowledge of the algorithm or hardware producing the series and all the previous bits produced.
Third, the RNGs output cannot be cloned in a repeat run even with the same input.
The most common approach to producing random numbers is by using an algorithm carried out by a computer program (Yarrow, Tiny, Egads, Mersenne Twister). Such algorithms cannot produce random numbers, hence their names, pseudo-random number generators (PRNG).
Another approach is to use physical events such as entropy produced by the keyboard, mouse, interrupts, white noise from microphones or speakers and disk drive behavior as the seed (initial value).
Some may argue that true random generators are those that can detect quantum behavior in subatomic physics. This is because randomness is inherent in the behavior of subatomic particles - remember the electron cloud from your high school physics.
One-time Pad
The most effective system is often the simplest. A one-time pad (OTP) is a series of random bits that has the same length as the digital object to be encrypted. To encrypt, just use a simple computer operation, exclusive OR (XOR). To decrypt, simply XOR the encrypted result with the same random bits.
The downside of using OTP is that once used, it must be discarded. Second, the OTP and the digital object must have the same number of bits. Lastly, the obvious problem of synchronizing the OTP between the receiver and sender.
[Authors note: The concluding Part 3 will focus on keys management and public key cryptography.]

• 2007-Dec-3 - The Art Of Downloading Movies Fast
The Art Of Downloading Movies Fast
by Charles Cruz
Watching movies can be one of the most comfortable experiences in the world. Imagine sitting comfortably in your couch next to someone you really love, both of you just enjoying a really good, Oscar type movie. You know... the ones where you just watched them and somehow you start to think you're the main character of the movie.
Downloading movies can be a great resource to getting movies, specially now that great resources are coming out where you can download movies in a legal way. But before you get on a crusade to download every movie made by Hollywood in the past ten years, there are actually a few things you can do to reduce the time you spend downloading them and increase the speed at which you download them at.
First of all, it's recommended that before you start your download a movie you clear up your computer by closing all of the windows you really aren't using. That's what we recommend until you start getting a good speed and then you can let go and start looking at other monkey stuff while your the movie gets downloaded.
Christmas Gift Ideas Downloads KaZaa LimeWire eMule Prison Break
Second of all, we recommend to choose two movies you are keen of watching at the moment and start downloading them both at the same time. This works great because it creates a "race" between the two and we have found that in most cases it actually increases the speed at which a single download would go.
Third of all, be sure to check that you have both
A) Available space in you computer, one of the most irritating things in the world can be to have spent the last two hours waiting for your movie to download when you get the message "not enough disk in space" one minute before it was over. Be sure to have at ideally 2 GB for a single movie, and a minimum of 750.
Cheap Car Insurance Movie Downloads Verizon Ringtones Downloads
B) Available time to download. If you're going to start to download a movie, depending on how fast is your connection, your going to need from 30 minutes to several hours to download a movie file. On average, if you are downloading a movie at 32 Kb/s it can take around 6 hours, versus the 12 minutes if you're downloading it at 1.25MB/s.
If you are organized and check everything in advance, downloading movies online will surely be a cool ride for you, make sure you download your movies from a legal source and don't make illegal copies to sell and your all fired up and ready to enjoy the full movie experience.

• 2007-Nov-12 - How To Control The Music Download Madness
How To Control The Music Download Madness
(Thu Dec 29th, 2005, by Charles Cruz)
After following the trend of users coming on to the internet to download movies, many resources started to come out offering you the latests downloads. At the very beggining this was great for most users.
After a while, people started to take advantage of this. They started adding pop ups, illegal spy software, among many other things to their sites. You downloaded an mp3 file and you got the file, but with it you had a shiny new browser window that told you to buy viagra everytime you surfed the web.
Fortunately, other resources came out. Legal Resources. Places were you can come inside and download music in a safe way, in a way you can trust.
These are cost effective, and if you compare it to the damage that could be caused by downloading the files from an illegal source, then the legal sources will outweight their value by tenfold.
When you're downloading for and Mp3 music file online, there are a few things you will want to look for:
1) The quality of the Mp3. File quality can range anywhere from 20 kbps which is blurry quality to 320 kbps which is basically CD quality. You should aim for downloading music files that are above 128 kbps. Anything below that will have a trashy background that will not sound great when you burn it onto a CD.
2) You internet speed must be in a good shape. Sometimes it's necessary to restart your computer to get it back to optimum speed before attempting to download any mp3 file. You'll want anything over 3 kb/s to get the song in under 10 minutes.
3) Check you computer to make sure you have enough space on the drive you're downloading your file. There's nothing more annoying than getting to 75 percent of the download only to find out that you didn't have enough room in your C: Drive. Nowadays with our hard drive's spaces growing this is more unsual but it's best to make sure before you start.
Cingular.Rinback Tones Free Bearshare Downloads Limewire MusicMatch Verizon Ringtones AVG Kazaa Soulseek Verizon Ringback.Tones
4) Make sure you don't make illegal copies of the music you're downloading. The best way to download music is to use them as samples for a music album. You download a music file, see if you like it, and if you do, you go ahead and buy the record. If you don't then sample on to the next band. This way we keep the music industry going and it's an all round win win situation.
All and all, downloading music is a great experience and you can even learn about new bands that you'll want to go to the concert or buy the album later. Just make sure you do it from a legal source and keep your copies to yourself.

• 2007-Nov-8 - Protect Yourself From Spyware Snoops!
Protect Yourself From Spyware Snoops!
by Larry Denton
Just when you thought you were Web savvy, one more privacy, security, and usability issue springs up--spyware. Spyware is the techno-version of a Peeping Tom. Installed on your computer without your consent, spyware software monitors or controls your computer use. It may be used to send you pop-up ads, redirect your computer to specific websites, monitor your Internet surfing, or record your key strokes, which, in turn could lead to identity theft and misuse of your private information--such as credit card numbers. Why do so many computer users allow spyware snoops to monitor them online? The answer is very simple. They may not even know they are being watched.
Your best protection against this particular privacy invasion is to learn about this hideous misuse of the Internet and act accordingly, using software that is readily available and very inexpensive--even free in many cases.
"Spyware is a technological disease that is proliferating each day. It threatens the efficiency of our computers and Internet services as well as the security of our personal information and private transactions, " said Congresswoman Mary Bono (R-CA) when explaining her introduction of H.R. 2929 in April, 2004. "The Safeguard Against Privacy Invasion Act" (SPI Act) works to protect individuals and companies from unknowingly downloading spyware by requiring that "consumers receive a clear and conspicuous notice prior to downloading spyware."

Many experienced Web users have already learned how to recognize spyware, avoid it, and delete it. According to officials at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), all computer users should "get wise to the signs that spyware has been installed on their machines, and then take appropriate steps to delete it."
Clues that spyware is on a computer include: a barrage of pop-up ads, being redirected to unwanted websites, a sudden or repeated change in your computer's Internet home page, new and unexpected tool bars, new and unexpected icons at the bottom of your computer screen, keys that do not work (for example, the "Tab" key that does not work when you try to move to the next field), random error messages, and sluggish or exceedingly slow performance when opening programs or saving files.
The good news is that computer users can prevent spyware installation, readily detect that which is already installed, and easily delete it from that system. Experts from the FTC and across the technology industry offer these suggestions: update your operating system and Web browser software; download free software only from sites you know and trust; do not install any software without knowing EXACTLY what it is; minimize "drive-by" downloads; don't click on any links within pop-up windows; and install a dependable personal firewall to stop uninvited guests from accessing your computer.
If you think your computer may have spyware on it, experts advise that you take three steps. First, get an anti-spyware program from a vendor you know and trust. Next, set it to scan on a regular basis--at least once a week--or perhaps even once a day. Finally, delete any software programs the anti-spyware detects.
A specific type of Spyware is referred to as "Adware"--advertising supported software. Like Spyware, Adware will usually install components on your computer that will send marketing information whenever you are online. Unlike Spyware, however, Adware contains a disclosure telling you that they will be using your information. It is VERY important to read the privacy policy when downloading Adware.
Run a systems check on your computer, use common sense when downloading from unknown Internet sites and invest in some reliable Spyware blocker software. Best wishes for safe surfing!

Wal-Mart Music Downloads, Napster and other legal digital music
by John Rivers
Digital Music Download. Ever since file-sharing programs entered the hard drives of our computers, people have wanted the best place for a digital music download. Music companies have had to figure out what to do about illegal music downloads and the music download web site. The legal battle continues but they have fought back by offering the consumer a legal alternative, the music download site to get a digital music download. These sites let you get what music you want, from who you want, when you want.
These music download sites include, believe it or not, Napster, with over 500,000 digital music downloads, eMusic, where you can get 50 free music downloads just for starters, Musicmatch, who has a great membership package, Realrhapsody, which offers a very nice two-week free trial, and one of my favorites and their "Always Low Prices" is the Wal-Mart music download, with songs as low as .88 cents.
Music Downloads Downloads Auto Warranty
Legal music download sites or pay-per-song music programs let you pay for the songs you want. No more buying entire CD's just for that one maybe two popular hits. Prices range from .79 to .99 per song. If you want an entire CD it only costs around $10 through these digital music download sites.
Some of these programs feature more than just music downloads. For instance, Realrhapsody and Musicmatch offer intenet radio which feature many programmable, commercial-free radio stations. Check out the information provided about these legal music download sites and compare, because it can make a difference in the price you pay. Of course you want to find the price that best fits your budget, but you should also check and see what else these sites have to offer before you make your final decision.

• 2007-Oct-29 - BearShare and LimeWire
Finally, we looked at two services, BearShare and LimeWire, that use the Gnutella network, which bloomed during the heyday of Napster. Because these services have so few users—as of November, BearShare had only 700,000 and LimeWire had even fewer—they're not nearly as effective as Morpheus or even WinMX. While testing BearShare, we found only the MP3 of Fitzgerald's "Miss Otis Regrets" and the copy of WinZip; with LimeWire, we found only the WinZip file.
BearShare eMule LimeWire KaZaa Zwinky Ringtones AVG
In an effort to attract more users, LimeWire's new beta client, Version 2.1.1, applies the super node concept to Gnutella's more traditional peer-to-peer architecture, creating what the company calls ultrapeers. Over the next several weeks, BearShare will likely add such technology to its service as well.
If the addition of ultrapeers can indeed lead to greater usage of these services, LimeWire and BearShare might soon be as attractive as WinMX and the FastTrack services. BearShare lets you perform multiple searches at once, and none of your searches will stop until you tell them to. LimeWire's search engine isn't quite as clever, but the application does offer a built-in MP3 player. Both programs provide swarm downloading and automatically resume interrupted downloads.

• 2007-Oct-28 - Beware of Spyware
Beware of Spyware
by Nowshade Kabir)
One day, you suddenly realize that your computer started to work noticeably slower than it used to. You decide to run de-fragmentation of your hard drive and add more virtual memory to the system. No luck! May be, its probably some viruses, you reckon turning on your virus scanning software. Even after running the anti-virus program you notice that the problem wont resolve. Not understanding whats happening frustrated you pick up the phone. Its time to call your tech-support. Sounds familiar? You are not alone! Each day, thousands of users are facing similar problems caused by malicious software called Spyware. According to Dell technical support, nowadays 12 percent of their support calls involve problems related to some kinds of Spyware. Microsoft reports that fifty percent of all computer crushes are caused by Spyware, viruses and Trojans.
What is a Spyware?
Spyware also named Malware or Adware are malicious software programs, which most of the time get installed on your computer without your knowledge. These programs are capable of doing many outrageous, sinister things to your computer such as changing computer settings, tracking your online behavior, monitoring and controlling your computer, recording your keystrokes, displaying unwanted advertisement and reporting needed information back to the person behind it.
The main types of Spyware are:
Key loggers: This type of Spyware copies everything you type to a file and send it to the hacker. The more sophisticated type, which is used for identity theft, copies the information you provide when you are connected to a secure website.
Browser hijacker: It modifies browser settings without your permission. This Spyware is capable of changing your start page, search page, search tool bar and redirect your url to specific pages.
Email redirector: Surreptitiously copies all your incoming and outgoing emails and sends to the hacker.
Dialers: This spyware install themselves to your dial-up settings and dials numbers without your knowledge, often to out of country numbers.
Collectware: The purpose of this Spyware is to track your surfing habit and transmitting the statistical data to the hacker. This information later gets sold to advertisement companies.
Adware: This Spyware downloads all sorts of banner advertisements every time you take some action such as typing a word on your search tool.
Why my antivirus program does not block a Spyware?
Although, Spyware uses same tactics like Trojan virus, technically it is not a virus. A virus is a program written to create trouble or possibly harm your computer system. Viruses are capable of replicate, evolve and cause severe damages to your computer files, registry or even hardware. Spyware, on the other hand, does not harm your computer intentionally. Any nuisance like system slow down is the collateral damage, which occurs while the Spyware serves its mission of monitoring your activities and making unwanted changes to your user experience.
People rarely read the fine prints of the user agreements while downloading a file, a program, a game or other free stuffs from the Internet. Unethical sites use this to their advantage and add tiny Spyware with the file you are downloading.
BearShare eMule LimeWire KaZaa Zwinky Halloween Zwinky Ringtones AVG MusicMatch
The anti-virus programs can not be sure, whether this program is installed deliberately by you or its a malicious Spyware. This makes identifying and blocking a Spyware difficult for an Anti-virus program. However, things are started to change! Major anti-virus companies are planning to integrate anti-spyware programs to their existing products very soon.
How did I get infected with a Spyware?
There are numerous ways how you might end up with having a Spyware on your system.
- When you download and install programs, games, smilies, pictures, screensavers from dubious sites, there is a big chance that you might install a sneaky Spyware along the way.
- Some websites and pop-up windows try to download and install Spyware while you are there. According a recent analysis of sex-based websites, up to 80 percent of these sites are now being used to upload Spyware, worms and Trojans to unsuspecting visitors.
- Some add-ons to you browser that is supposed to enhance your browser experience may secretively install Spyware.
- The most cynical method of infecting you with Spyware is when you receive a sudden pop-up ad, which claims that your computer is contaminated and you have to run certain program to cure your system. If you are credulous enough to run this program, it just installs a Spyware instead of eliminating any.
How to fight back?
If you carefully follow the instructions outlined below, your chances of getting infected with Spyware are pretty slim.
Update your Windows Allow your version of Windows to update it automatically. Ensure that you have all the latest security patches installed.
Use Firefox as your default browser Since Internet Explorer is the main target for many Spyware, you will be better of with Mozilla Firefox. Moreover, it is a better browser than IE in many aspects.
AVG Lost Downloading Verizon Ringtones AVG Cingular Ringback Tones
Be extremely careful with your downloads Try not to download anything from a unknown site. If you still feel like getting a shareware or freeware program check it out on one of these online Spyware database. Spychecker (http://www.spychecker.com/) is one such service, and Camtech 2000's Spy Chaser (http://camtech2000.net/Pages/SpyChaser.html) is a nifty downloadable database of nearly 1000 spyware-infested programs.
Use an Anti-Spyware application Download and install one of the following anti-spyware programs: Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/), Spybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybotsd/index.html) and Microsoft AntiSpyware. Although, Microsofts Anti-Spyware
(http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/defaul t.mspx) is still at beta stage, I am using it and very happy with its performance.
Get a Firewall If you are using Windows XP with Service Pack 2, you are probably fine! In other cases, if your computer is connected to the Internet directly you should get a firewall and install it. Zone alarm
(http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/home.jsp) is a great firewall you can download for free.
A recently conducted survey of the Top Network Security threats in 2005 reveals that two-thirds of IT managers and administrators believe that Spyware will be the number one threat to network security. So dont take any chance! Make sure that you are protected!

Zwinkys are the new internet craze! Everyone is adding the free zwinky characters to their internet profile pages on myspace, xanga, facebook and more. People are creating their own zwinky to represent who they are and what they could possibly look like. While Zwinkys are more popular with the younger generation the adults are even getting into it.

Zwinkies are customizable social avatars that are part of the My Web Searshbar on computers running Windows. • 2007-Oct-5 - Make Miracles With Your SEO Article
Make Miracles With Your SEO Article
By Carrie Bliss
There are three major goals to achieve when you write an SEO article. Of course you need to incorporate those magic keywords that bring the almighty Google to its knees, but you cannot forget that someone will actually read the articles once you get them posted and start drawing a readership. Strive for the following three main objectives to squeeze the most out of your SEO article while getting more internet traffic.
1. Boost your ranking with keywords.
The best article in the world will not be read if nobody can find it. In order to increase web traffic, you need to plan your SEO strategy and take it step by step. Some people like to start with keywords with less competition to more easily achieve a top ranking. Then they use the 'halo effect' to go for top rankings with similar keywords. Whatever your strategy is, you must keep it in mind when you outline your articles.
Many people like to use a main keyword once in the first paragraph and once in the last paragraph, with four or five similar keywords throughout the article. You have to be careful with this, because if the keywords are too similar you will sound redundant to the reader. Besides, keyword stuffing can be a detriment to your ranking with Google.
Once you decide on your keywords, you need to infuse your article with them without making them stand out awkwardly. You need to make sure that you do not get so caught up in the keywords that the writing ceases to flow. Awkward placement of keywords can be a big turn off to people who spend a lot of time on the internet.

2. Provide content that keeps savvy web surfers on your site.
Remember the main reason that you want a good ranking with search engines. Chances are that you want people to stay on your site for a while. Besides, Google takes the amount of time people spend on your site into consideration when determining rankings. You do not want people coming to your site and immediately leaving. Whether you want to believe it or not, most people doing a search on the web are not as distractible as you may hope. If they came to your site with the impression that they would get relevant information about a certain subject and find a poorly written compilation of drivel, they will leave faster than you can say, 'next'.
Audience awareness is crucial to retain the interest of the individual sitting at their computer, reading your article. You need to immediately grab their attention. You can use humor, empathy, or great information to keep that reader on your site. It is way too easy for them to give up on your article. They can be driven away by a lack of relevant content, poor grammar, or by an article that is sluggish and boring. Always walk away from your article before proof reading. Come back and re-read it with fresh eyes to spare your readers the wasted 'clicks' to and away from your site.

3. Build up to a call to action that brings results.
There are many catch phrases and writing structures that are supposed to bring a reader to take action. Many web users have caught on to these. They glean what they want from the site, ignore the sales pitch, and move on. You need to capture them early in the article and build up to the call to action, especially if you want to make money online. A sales blip at the end of the article is very easy to avoid, but an article supporting legitimate reasons for taking action will naturally direct the reader to follow your lead.
Take care when you decide how to write an article so that you do more than provide a backdrop for your keywords. An SEO article is your platform and you can use it to accomplish many things. Bring your reader to the site, draw them in, and prompt them to action with a well written article.
