Living your life after a criminal record. - Posted at 02:44 on 2009-Feb-17 by Duncan Carver

Until you have experienced having a criminal record you will never really know what it is like to live with one.  A criminal record can drastically change the way that you live your life and the way that people will look at you and at times how you will look at yourself.  Having a criminal record can really make your life a lot harder than it would ever need to be.

You see a criminal record is obtained when any type of crime is committed.  When a crime happens a criminal record will also happen.  Now there are those people who have a very long and detailed criminal record and then there are those people who have a much smaller criminal record.  Either way though a criminal record is still the same whether it is long or short.  You never really think about how a criminal record will affect you and the way that you live your life but it does and it will.

One way that a criminal record can affect someone’s life is when they are trying to obtain a job.  Not just a career but a simple every day job where they can make an honest living and pay the bills and just simply take care of themselves.  A criminal record will always show up in a background check and the people who are doing the hiring may not want to give a job to someone who has a criminal record. Of course people will say that they will not discriminate against someone who has a criminal record but at the same time they do not have to tell them that their criminal record is the reason why they are not going to get the job.  For example if two people have the exact same qualifications and the exact same talents for a job and they both have the right personality for the job and everything is equal, do you think the person with the criminal record will get the job or the person with out the criminal record will get the job?

Another way that a criminal record may affect someone’s life is the fact that many higher learning institutions will not accept anyone who has a criminal record.  It may also affect the types of loans or grants that you can apply for.  And not only college or a trade school but afterwards too.  You may not be accepted into an internship that you would need for a certain career and it could change your whole life.

There are many ways that a criminal record can affect someone’s life and none of them are any good.  IT is a very negative aspect to have a criminal record even if you are trying to live the most respectable and law abiding life.  A criminal record will also stay with you forever.  It never goes away or fades away or stops being there after a certain amount of years.  A criminal record is there always and forever.  The only way that you can get rid of a criminal record is to have it sealed or expunged by a court.  The court will hear your case and then decide if you are able to have your criminal record expunged.

If you do decide to have your criminal record expunged then it is very necessary for you to contact a lawyer about having your record sealed.  An attorney will guide and advise you in what you need to do in order to have your life back. It is also necessary for an attorney to file all the necessary paperwork that will need to be filed with the courts so contacting one is very important.
Have your criminal record expunged - Posted at 12:41 on 2009-Feb-9 by Duncan Carver

A criminal record is a very powerful thing for many people.  For those people who tend to use a criminal record to base their decisions on whether to hire someone or not a criminal record is a very helpful tool.  As an employer you typically do not want a career criminal working for you.  A criminal record would show you if a person has been in and out of trouble for the last twenty years of their life.  A career criminal is not the element that many employers would like to have.  However what if you are that person with the criminal record?

How are you supposed to live your life and support your family?  How are you supposed to make yourself a better person?  It is a very hard thing to do with a criminal record.  What if you have been in trouble with the law in the past and have actually lived a very clean cut life after the fact.  It does not matter because your criminal record will stay with you forever.  There is no way that people can hide their criminal records either.  Once a person has a criminal record it is there with them forever.  Except if they get their criminal record expunged.

Having a criminal record expunged is not an easy process and no one should enter it thinking that it could be done in a week or two.  There are many regulations that apply to having a criminal record sealed and they must all be met before a judge would even consider having a criminal record expunged.  The very first thing that must be done is that an attorney must be contacted.  Even though many people may think that they can do the research and then file the paper work themselves this is definitely one time that an attorney is an absolute must.

By contacting an attorney a person can see if they even meet the requirements of having their criminal record expunged.  That means that an attorney will be able to tell you if you even have a shot at it.  Then they will have to file the papers with the appropriate courts and many other things. This is a long process so prepare for it and do not expect it to happen over night.  Having a criminal record expunged is not something that just happens and it is not simple but it is definitely not impossible.  Actually it does happen quite frequently and there are many people who have their criminal record expunged.

As far as the regulations go meeting with an attorney is the best way to see if you are even able to have your criminal record expunged.  One of the main ones though is that there has to be no bodily harm done to anyone as a result of your crime. That means that no one could have been injured or killed as a direct or indirect result of the crime that you committed.  As long as that very big requirement is met you can continue on.  There are many others but that is the big one.  You must have also satisfied all of your fines and fees, your jail time and parole or probation in order to have your criminal record expunged.  There is an entire list of rules so contacting an attorney is the very best way to handle the situation.  An attorney will be able to handle everything for you so you can try to get your life back and to get the life that you do have back in some kind of working order.

Change your life…have your criminal record expunged - Posted at 04:38 on 2009-Jan-29 by Duncan Carver

Criminal records have a funny way of changing a person’s whole life.  When a person receives a criminal record they will find that when of the smoke clears their life will be different and it will never go back to the normalcy that it once was.  A criminal record is something that follows you for your whole life and can never go away.

Once a criminal record is obtained by a person it stays with them forever.  When people get into legal trouble and they end up with a criminal record they are typically only concerned with not going to jail or paying fines or probation. People do not tend to even acknowledge the fact that all of their actions will result in a criminal record that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.  But when all is said and done and all of the fines are paid and the jail time is done and all of the parole or probation is finished there will still be a criminal record.  Our society is based on the fact of when you commit a crime you must pay for your crime.  And even though the majority of people will have a criminal record because of a mistake that they made when they were younger and even though they have paid their debt to society for that crime they will still end up with a record that will follow them throughout their entire lives.

Having a criminal record can and will change many things in a person’s life.  They will find that it may be much harder to find a job in the career field that they have chosen or for that matter, even find a job to help support themselves and their families.  A criminal record may not only affect your future career but it will probably keep you from getting even just a basic job.  A criminal record can hurt you in so many different ways and it will continue to follow you forever.  Criminal records do not go away even when all of your debt to society has been paid the criminal record will still be there.  Let me say that one more time.  A criminal record will always be there.

However there is only one way for a person to get rid of a criminal record and one way only.  That way is to go before a judge and have your criminal record expunged.  Expunging a criminal record could be a long process and a person should always be prepared for such a long journey.  But for many people any chance at all to have their criminal record go away having their criminal record expunged and however long it takes is worth any kind of wait and any money that it may take.

So how do you go about having your criminal record expunged?  You must contact an attorney.  Contacting and retaining an attorney to help you with the process of expunging a criminal record is the only way that you can do it.  An attorney will file all of the proper paper work and argue your case before a judge.  There are many different requirements that a person must fill before a person can even think about having their criminal record expunged.  By speaking with an attorney you will be able to find out all of that information and you will know right away if you will be able to have your criminal record expunged or not.  For those people who have a criminal record you know all too well the issues that having a criminal record could cause you so to fix that and make your life better contact an attorney today.

A Life After Having A Criminal Record - Posted at 01:35 on 2009-Jan-21 by Duncan Carver

Listen, life happens and sometimes we do things that we are not very proud of and because of it you end up paying for that mistake for a long time. A criminal record is an outcome of some of these mistakes. Maybe you were out at a wedding and had one too many drinks and this careless act resulted in you getting pulled over and brought in and charged with drinking while intoxicated. Now you have a criminal record with a DWI listed on it. This can be devastating. Your life is definitely going to change in many aspects.

Everyday with a criminal record is a struggle to live a normal life. It creates many difficult situations, such as getting a job. There are not many employers that want to hire a person with a criminal record. Can you blame them? They are running a business and to them the fact that you have a record to begin with shows them a bit or irresponsibility. This probably isn’t really the case but would you take the chance.

There is something that you can do that will help you to get back to your normal life, and begin getting accepted by society once again. You can get your criminal record expunged. This will close your record so that it cannot be accessed by anyone again. The only way that your record can be reopened is if you were to commit another crime, other than that it will be sealed for no one to ever see. But hold on just one second don’t start getting all excited. There are different requirements that you must fill in order to qualify for criminal record expungement and every state has slight differences. Some require that it’s been a certain amount of time since your crime was committed, the severity of the crime will be take into consideration and various other requirements. The only real way to determine if you qualify for your criminal record to be sealed is from a lawyer.

Now the first thing that you must do is to obtain a lawyer to help you, and let you know what you need to do. Your attorney will be the only one that will be able to really tell you whether or not you qualify for this and if he or she believes that you do than they will proceed to file the necessary paperwork to begin the process. The main concern when they are determining if they should expunge your criminal record is your past. Was this your first offense? How long has it been since you committed this crime and so and so forth.

It’s important that you understand that this entire process to get your criminal record expunged will take some time and will cost you some money. There are going to be fines and fees that you will need to pay, and depending on the severity it could very possible cost you a large amount of money. So be sure that you discuss all of this with your attorney before you actually hire them.

Criminal record expungement is your ticket to getting back the life that you once had. It will prevent you from not getting the job that you applied, or get into the college that you want all because you have a criminal record.

Have a criminal record expunged and change your life. - Posted at 11:48 on 2009-Jan-14 by Duncan Carver

There are plenty of people who now have a criminal record and are trying to live their lives to the best of their ability and have a normal life that is accepted by society.  However because of their criminal record that is not always as easy to do as a person would think it is.  Trying to get your life back after a criminal record could be very difficult for many, many people.  That is why so many people would rather have their criminal record expunged so that they may be able to live a normal life that society will accept.

A criminal record can make anyone’s life a lot more difficult than it really needs to be.  First let us consider that there are several different types of people that will have a criminal record.  There is the lifetime criminal that will have a criminal record that extends a very long way and they will unfortunately keep on adding to their criminal record and they will typically not have the ability to have their criminal record expunged.  But when a person has only a small criminal record and they have been living their life within the letter of the law then it would be a lot easier for them to have their criminal record expunged.

There are many requirements for a person to have their criminal record expunged.  When a criminal record needs to be expunged there are some factors that must happen.  The first thing that anyone with a criminal record should do if they want to have their criminal record expunged is to retain an attorney right away.  That way the attorney that is going to help you get your criminal record expunged will be able to answer all of your questions about what you need to do in order to have your criminal record expunged.  Not only will you need to hire an attorney to help answer all of your questions but you will also need to hire an attorney because there will be some court proceedings when you have your criminal record expunged.

Once you hire an attorney to help with all of the procedures to have your criminal record expunged then you will have to have a ton of paperwork that will be filed by your attorney with the court.  There are many things that an attorney will have to do for you when you are going to have your criminal record expunged.  When you are going to have your criminal record expunged you must have a crime free past of at least five years.  You must also have all of your fines and fees paid and all of your parole or probation and sentencing done.  There are many requirements that must be met before you can even consider having your criminal record expunged.  By speaking to an attorney you will be able to know if you should even try to have your criminal record expunged.  It is a very long process for many people to go through so you should expect to wait for a bit before everything is all done.  The reason it takes so long to go through and have you criminal record expunged is because there are many steps to the whole procedure.  There is paper work and appearing in front of the judge also.  The best thing though is when you are all through with the procedure.  Having a criminal record expunged is completely worth it because you will be able to live a normal life from that point on and you will no longer have to live with a criminal record.

Change your life…have your criminal record expunged. - Posted at 09:46 on 2009-Jan-7 by Duncan Carver

Does anyone ever really know how a criminal record will affect them once all is said and done?  Is the fact of having a criminal record follow a person for the rest of their life even a consideration of theirs when they could be facing some sort of jail time.  Typically all people really care about is the fact that they do not want to go to jail and have their freedom taken from them.  There is also the cost of attorneys and any other fines that they may have to pay.  But a criminal record is the last thing that a person will think of, until their life starts to be affected by the criminal record.

After all of the jail time is done and all of the parole or probation is finished and all of the fines are paid a person must go back to their normal life and doing that can really be quite hard once a person has criminal record.  People do not think about how a criminal record will really affect the way that they live their life because it is not ever thought about until it happens and they can really see what takes place.

Even though employers are not supposed to base any judgment upon whether a person has been to jail or not they will.  When a job applicant puts in a job application and an employer sees that there is a history of criminal activity they may not want to hire that person.  And a criminal record will show up if the employer does any kind of background check.  If two people are equally qualified and they both are even in personality and other qualities that an employer looks for but one of the applicants has a criminal record who do you think that the employer will take, it will typically be the person without a criminal record.  The same holds true for so many things in today’s world.  A criminal record will affect you when it comes to jobs, when it comes to places that you may want to live and even loans and other things like higher education.  Criminal records do not go away even if you paid your debt to society, a criminal record will affect you and follow you for the rest of your life.

So how do people live after a crime has been committed and they now have a criminal record?  There are those people that just go through life doing the best that they can and existing with their criminal record and working with in the boundaries that it places upon them and then there are those people who have their criminal records sealed or they have their criminal records expunged.

Having a criminal record expunged will turn a person’s life around.  Now having a criminal record expunged is not typically something that a life long criminal will tend to do but for someone who has made a mistake or choose the wrong path when they were younger, having a criminal record expunged can really change the way that their life goes from that point on.  No longer to you have to say that you have committed a crime because it will be sealed and unless a court says it has to be opened a criminal record that has been expunged will stay sealed forever.  If a criminal record is affecting the way that you life and you really want more out of life you should contact an attorney in your area to see if you meet the requirements to have your criminal record expunged.

Getting back to normal by having your criminal record expunged. - Posted at 07:52 on 2008-Dec-24 by Duncan Carver

Whenever someone commits a crime they will soon realize that they will have a criminal record for the rest of their lives.  A criminal record will always stay with some one no matter what happens.  A criminal record can completely change the way that a person lives their life and what they expect.  Many people do not ever think of how a criminal record will affect them after the court dates and fines and any other penalties but a criminal record will hurt them for a long time.

So how can a person live their life in a normal way and not have to worry about having a criminal record?  The only way to live their life with out the criminal record hanging over their head would be to have their criminal record expunged.  To have a criminal record expunged first means that effectively the criminal record is no longer.  That means that if you are stopped by a police officer while driving you do not have to say that you have ever been arrested.  That also means that you do not have to fill out a job application and tell them that you have a criminal record.  Having a criminal record expunged will mean that you pretty much do not have a criminal record any longer.  The only way that you will have to answer to having a criminal record would be if a court ordered your criminal record to be opened.

An attorney would have to start the process to have the criminal record expunged.  An attorney will be able to go into great detail about the requirements that must be met in order for someone to have a criminal record sealed.  There are some rules that will say that in order to have a criminal record expunged there must not be any type of personal injury or any kind of death that occurred due to the crime that way committed.  Also there must not be any type of criminal activity during the last five years.  All of the fines, jail time, probation or parole must have all been met.  There is an extensive list of items and requirements that must be met before you can even think of having your criminal record expunged.  An attorney will be able to tell you everything that you need to know about this end of a criminal record.

Having your criminal record expunged will take time and it will take money.  Do not expect the whole process to happen in a blink of an eye because there will be a lot of time that could go by when you are trying to get your criminal record expunged.  You will have to go to court and be in front of a judge who will say whether or not you can get your criminal record expunged or not.  There is a lot of red tape that you must go through and that is why it is extremely important to have an attorney.

Another thing to know is that if you have a criminal record in another state than where you live you must find an attorney in the state where the crime was committed.  Each state has different types of laws and that is why you will need to find an attorney in the area where the crime was committed.  There are a lot of different things that you will have to do in order to have your criminal record expunged but in the long run it will be entirely worth it.  To live a normal life again means more to some people than you would think and having your criminal record expunged can offer that again.

Get rid of your criminal record and lead a normal life. - Posted at 01:18 on 2008-Dec-16 by Duncan Carver

Have you ever heard of a criminal record?  The answer to that question would be yes for a lot of people but do they really know what exactly a criminal record is and how it would affect someone?  The answer to that question is typically no they do not know.  A criminal record is something that any one can obtain and it is not something that anyone would really want to have.  A criminal record can affect the rest of a person’s life and not in a positive way at all.

First of all a criminal record is something that a person will receive if they perform any type of criminal act.  Any type of criminal activity that a person gets arrested for will give them a criminal record.  Even if you do not get convicted with the crime in essence you will still have a criminal record.  This criminal record will never, ever go away and will stay with the person for their entire lifetime.  The criminal record does not just disappear after twenty or thirty years it is there forever.  Even if someone never commits another crime again in their life they will still have the criminal record that they at one time obtained.

So how does having a criminal record affect a person’s life?  A criminal record can be something that can hinder someone from obtaining the job or the career that they so desperately wanted.  A criminal record may stop someone from getting the home that they always wanted and it will definitely stop a person from receiving some of the loans and grants that they would have wanted for schooling.  All of these things can truly change the way a person would have wanted to live their life and because of the criminal record that they have they may find it very difficult to live a normal type of life.  These things are never discussed when a plea bargain or some other type of deal is worked out or for that matter it is never thought about until the issue of having a criminal record actually comes up and then that person sees how truly horrible a criminal record can be for them.

So if a criminal record never goes away how can a person ever hope to live a normal life again?  There is a way to have your criminal record go away and that would be to have your criminal record expunged.  Having a criminal record expunged is the same as having the criminal record sealed.  That means that from the time that you have the criminal record expunged you effectively do not have a criminal record any longer.  The only way that a criminal record can be opened again is if a judge so orders it.  And even then it would have to be a very serious reason for the court to have your criminal record that had been expunged reopened.

In order to have a criminal record expunged an attorney will have to be retained.  An attorney will be able to start the process of having a criminal record expunged and it can only go through an attorney.  They will have to basically tell the judge why the criminal record should be expunged and show that the person has lead a “good” and crime free life for a period of time.  There are a number of stipulations that must be met before a judge will even consider having a criminal record expunged so meeting with an attorney before you try to enter the whole process would be the best thing for you to do.

Having a criminal record expunged can change the way that you feel. - Posted at 08:12 on 2008-Dec-11 by Duncan Carver

When a crime is committed a criminal record is obtained.  For those people who have criminal records they know exactly how it is to live with a criminal record that is chasing them day after day.  People who have criminal records know that a criminal record can really affect their daily lives in what to some people who do not have criminal records will think is very small and every day types of things.

Another thing about criminal records is that people tend to think that once a crime has been paid for with things like probation or parole that a criminal record will not affect you any longer after that.  Unfortunately that is not the case at all.  A criminal record will follow some one until they die.  It could be twenty or thirty years later and you could still have the criminal record affect the way that you have to live your life.  Criminal records just do not go away magically.  The way that criminal records will stick with someone for ever is many times overlooked by those who are not aware of how they can really be affected by a criminal record.

If you are a person who has a criminal record then you will know what it is like to have to tell a police officer every time that they are stopped for a traffic infraction of any kind that they have a criminal record.  If you are a person who has a criminal record then you know that every time that you fill out an application for any kind of job at all you will have to tell your potential employer that you have a criminal record.  There are many, many times that you will have to tell someone that you have a criminal record and you may be affected in a very negative aspect because of it.

After even a few years of doing this it could be annoying and if you have to do this for a number of years you will see how it can really affect you and how you would want to really have your criminal record expunged.  Not every one knows that you can have a criminal record expunged and what that really means.  To have your criminal record expunged means that you will effectively have your criminal record sealed and no one can see it.  Criminal records that are expunged will allow you to say that you do not have a criminal record ever again.  The only time you will have to say that you have a criminal record would be that if a judge or a court ordered that you would have to have your court record unsealed and then you would have to admit to having a criminal record.  And that would only happen in the most serious of instances.

To have a criminal record expunged or to have a criminal record sealed you would need to have an attorney help you.  There are certain requirements that must be made before you can even qualify to have your criminal record expunged and an attorney would be able to tell exactly what those are before you even try to get your criminal record expunged.  An attorney would be able to tell you everything that you need to know about having a criminal record expunged.  Things like how much it would cost to have the procedure done, they would be able to tell you how long it would take and what to expect when you start the procedure.  There are many, many things to discuss with your attorney when you are looking to have your criminal record expunged so contacting one as soon as you decide that you want your record sealed is the best way to handle it.

An attorney to have your criminal record expunged. - Posted at 12:59 on 2008-Dec-8 by Duncan Carver

Dealing with a criminal record in your life is never easy.  The criminal record is never the part of a crime that anyone thinks about.  Most of the time people do not even think about the crime that they are doing at all until after the fact and then it is too late.  Once all the court trials and court appearances are over and once any of the jail time or the probation is over, and once any of the court ordered fees and restitutions are paid you would think that your debt to society has been paid back and you can go on and lead your life in a normal crime free way.  That is not always the case though because once everything is done you will still have your criminal record that will last with you for the rest of your life.

A criminal record does not go away once you have finished with all of the things that you had to do as payment for your crime.  A criminal record will stay with you for the rest of your life.  Every time that you go apply for a job you will have to let them know that you have a criminal record.  Every time that you wish to apply for a loan you will have to let them know that you have a criminal record and in many cases you will not receive that loan due to your criminal record.  Every time you get pulled over or stopped by the police you will have to let them know that you have a criminal record. You may not even be driving the car but you will have to let them know that you have a criminal record.  In some states you are even required to register as a felon due to your criminal record and even carry a card that states that you have a criminal record.

These things do not only happen while you are on probation or parole for your crime.  These types of things will happen for the rest of your life.  You may have done a crime when you were nineteen and when you are forty five you will still have to tell the police that you have a criminal record when they pull you over because you were speeding or ran a red light or something.  Criminal records are there for ever.

Unless you decide to look into having your criminal record expunged.  Having your criminal record expunged basically means that the criminal record will be sealed and that you effectively no longer have a criminal record.  That means that you can go after a career that may have been out of your reach because of a criminal record or that you do not have to say that you have a criminal record anymore when you are stopped by the police or even if you are in a court room and they ask you if you have a criminal record under oath.  Once that criminal record is expunged only by a court order can it be opened again ever.

In order to change your life back to some kind of normalcy you may want to seriously consider having your criminal record expunged.  You will need to contact an attorney so they can give you all of the details of having your criminal record expunged and what you will have to do to make it happen.  There are some rules and regulations about having your criminal record expunged and an attorney can tell you all of them and if it is best for you to have your criminal record expunged or not.

Live a normal life…get your criminal record expunged. - Posted at 05:50 on 2008-Nov-29 by Duncan Carver

There are many people who find themselves in a great dilemma.  They have made a poor decision and now they are stuck with a criminal record.  A criminal record will occur every time there is a criminal act that has been committed.  A criminal record is never a good thing to have and for those people who do have a criminal record they can tell you that it is not always an easy thing to have to deal with.

Having a criminal record can seriously affect a person’s life.  A criminal record can make it much more difficult to exist than other people that do not have any type of criminal record.  When a criminal record is there some people may find that it is much more difficult to obtain a job that can support them and support their family and with a criminal record they may not be able to go to the schools that they would normally have liked to go to, people may also find that with a criminal record it could be rather difficult to find a place to live in the areas that they would like to live in.

Even though people say that once you pay your debt to society you will have a clean slate those people who have a criminal record know that it is not always the truth.  In fact once you have paid your debt to society you will continue to have to prove yourself and to explain to yourself over and over again.  People may not want to give you a job if they see that you have a criminal record or they may not want to rent you a place to live if they see that you have a criminal record.  People do background checks all of the time and they will have you fill out applications that you must answer questions about ever being arrested or convicted of a crime.  If you do not answer honestly then you may be found out later on and then fired or evicted because you falsified some information.  There are many, many reasons why having a criminal record may truly affect your life in a very negative manner.

Even if you only made a mistake and then have led a crime free life for many years people will still consider you a criminal in many places and many circles.  The only way that a criminal record could go a away is to have that criminal record expunged.  By having a criminal record expunged you are basically sealing the criminal record so that it does not legally exist anymore.  Of course the criminal record itself is still there but no one may have access to it except if a court says that they can. And even if a court says that someone could have access to a criminal record that has been expunged that person would have to go to court to do so and prove why it is important to see the criminal record.

Having a criminal record expunged is the only way that many people can start to live normal lives again.  By making as if the criminal record never happened it may open up plenty of doors for someone to live life with some kind of freedom and not having to worry about every little thing that they do.  If you are interested in having your criminal record expunged you should contact an attorney right away.  An attorney is the one that would have to file all of the papers with the courts and an attorney would be the one that can make your criminal record become expunged.

Change the way that you live by having your criminal record expunged. - Posted at 10:17 on 2008-Nov-21 by Duncan Carver

Having a criminal record can be very hard for some people to deal with.  There are people that will always have a criminal record because they will just continue to keep doing things that are against the law.  They will keep doing wrong things and they will keep adding to their criminal record.  Then there are other people who have made a mistake or two and want to change the way that they live their lives.  However even though they may want to change their lives it could be rather difficult due to their criminal record.

You see a criminal record can make it harder for people to life their daily life and to change the way that they actually live.  A criminal record can affect the job that you obtain and the place where you live.  These things can indeed affect the way that you live and the style in which you live.  If you can not find a good or even a decent job you will not even be able to find anywhere to live at all let alone a place where you would like to live.  Now it is against the law for someone not to hire you because of having a criminal record but on any application that you fill out you will see that there is a spot where the employer asks you if you have ever been arrested or convicted in a certain amount of years.  Now you will have to answer this question honestly but many think that if they do answer honestly that they will not get the job they are trying to get.  However if you do get the job and then the employer finds out that you lied on your application you will be fired immediately.  This can make it very hard for someone to get a job and to try and change their life and the way that they live.  If a person can not find a job they may be inclined to go back to a life of crime in order to just simply survive.

A criminal record does not disappear and in fact the only way that a person can get rid of a criminal record is to have it expunged.  Having a criminal record expunged means that it is essentially not there anymore.  Once a criminal record has been expunged the only way that it can be opened is by a court order.  A criminal record can be sealed by a judge and that means that you can honestly say that you do not have a criminal record at all.  Even if you have had one in the past you do not have a criminal record anymore after it has been expunged.

In order to have a criminal record expunged you will need to have an attorney look into your case.  If you have a criminal record in a place that is some where other than where you live you will need to contact and hire an attorney that is the place where the crime was committed.  Once the attorney has been retained they can start on your case right away.  An attorney is needed because there are a lot of different papers that will need to be filled out and filed with the court system.  There are many requirements that a person will need in order to even qualify to have your criminal record expunged.  So when you are in a situation where you would like your life to change and to have your criminal record expunged it is important to retain the right attorney to make it all happen.

Change your life and have your criminal record expunged. - Posted at 09:51 on 2008-Nov-14 by Duncan Carver

There are some very good people in the world that have unfortunately acquired a criminal record.  A criminal record will be created any time that there is some kind of criminal activity.  The majority of people will always picture some type of life criminal when a criminal record is ever mentioned however that is not even the majority of the people who have a criminal record.

There are many people who have just made a mistake or a wrong judgment and now they have a criminal record.   These people are not bad people and they are not people who have been in and out of prison for the last twenty years.  These people are just every day people that have made a wrong judgment and they have made a mistake.  They could be your friends, your neighbors, your co workers or a member of your family.  They can even be you.

There is no telling who has a criminal record and who does not unless you run a criminal background check or they tell you that they have a criminal record.  When someone has a criminal record they must always tell the truth when they are asked about it.  If someone that has a criminal record is going to fill out some kind of application for either a job or a loan of some kind it is important that they answer the questions about arrest or a criminal record.  If the person with the criminal record lies and says that they do not have a criminal record when in fact they do have a criminal record they can be fired if they get the job or they can be denied for a loan or a home.  They must tell the truth when it comes to answering the question.

A criminal record can truly affect the way that you live your life if you are the person that has a criminal record. The criminal record that you have can change what you do for a living or it may change where you live and how you live your life.  It may be much more difficult for you to find a job if you have a criminal record.  These criminal records do not just go away with time. The criminal records are always there no matter what.  They follow you your entire life even if the incident was twenty years ago.  The only way to get rid of a criminal record is to have your criminal record sealed or to have your criminal record expunged.

To get your criminal record expunged you must contact an attorney.  The attorney will be able to handle all of the legal issues that will happen when you are trying to get your criminal record expunged.  If you live in another place than where you obtained a criminal record then you will need to retain an attorney in the state or the place where you received the criminal record that you now have.  You will have to contact an attorney in that state or place because the state laws may be different and the attorney in that area will be able to address any types of issues.

To have a criminal record expunged it is important that you do contact an attorney.  That attorney will discuss the entire procedure with you in the beginning.  This is important because there are some regulations and requirements to having your criminal record expunged and if you do not qualify then there is no reason to go any further until those requirements or you fulfilling those requirements change.  Contact your attorney and they will be able to tell you any thing you need to know about having your criminal record expunged.

Criminal records can affect your whole life. - Posted at 04:34 on 2008-Nov-7 by Duncan Carver

If you are one of the millions of people who have a criminal record then you may want to continue to read this article.  Criminal records have affected too many people to count and those people could tell you how their lives have been seriously affected because they have a criminal record.

Criminal records are obtained because of some kind of criminal activity that has occurred.  For any type of criminal activity a criminal record will start.  For many different things a criminal record will start.  No matter how serious or how insignificant you think the crime was, if there was a crime that took place someone has it on their criminal record.  You can not ever escape that criminal record and it will follow you through your entire life time.  There is no way that you can lie about it either because if someone finds out that you lied about your criminal record or if you have one or you do not have one you could be in jeopardy of losing your job or loan or what ever it was that you lied about.

A criminal record can affect the type of job you have or the type of home you have.  A criminal record can even affect the way that you pay for your schooling.  If you have a criminal record there is a chance that you may not qualify for any type of student loans or grants.  A criminal record can really affect the way of life a person has.  This is the way that a criminal record can truly affect how you live.

There is a way though that you can have a criminal record disappear almost anyway.  You can have your criminal record expunged.  Having a criminal record expunged means that basically your criminal record does not exists anymore, it is effectively sealed.  That means that your criminal record does not exist unless a court order says it has to be opened up.
To have a criminal record expunged that means that you can say that you do not have a criminal record.  On job applications you can say that you were not arrested or that you have any kind of criminal record and you would not be lying at all.  A criminal record being expunged means that you can try to retrieve your way of living and once again live your life the way that you want to.

The first step towards having your criminal record expunged would be to contact an attorney.  An attorney will help you with having your criminal record expunged.  By using an attorney then you will have a much easier time having your criminal record expunged than if you tried to do it by your self.  The attorney you hire can go over all of the fine details with you extensively.  There are some basic rules that you must have followed before you have your criminal record expunged though.  The most important requirement that you must have abided by would be that during what ever crime you committed there must not have been any kind of injury to anyone as a result of what you did. If there was any kind of injury or worse a death to anyone because of the crime that you were involved in then you may not be able to have your criminal record expunged at all.  That is the most serious of the requirements that must be met when having your criminal record expunged.  Having your criminal record expunged can really help you live your life again after some kind of criminal activity so contact an attorney today and they can help you answer any other questions that you may have.

Don’t let a criminal record change your life. - Posted at 10:16 on 2008-Oct-29 by Duncan Carver

A criminal record can change a person’s life and not for the better.  Having a criminal record can and has seriously changed a person’s way of living and existing.  There are those that continue the same sort of life they had before they received a criminal record and nothing changes for them but for other people having a criminal record can really change everything.

For those people that their lives do not change it is typically because they have had a criminal record for quite a while and they will continue to have a criminal record.  These people do not care what kind of affect a criminal record will have upon their lives because so much of their lives are spent in and out of jail.  Unfortunately these people will probably continue a life of a criminal nature unless some miraculous event changes their way of thinking and their way of living.  But for those people that have obtained a criminal record and are mostly law abiding citizens it is a whole different thing.

People who are people who follow the laws and made a stupid mistake will find it very hard to live a “normal” life sometimes after obtaining a criminal record.  These people may find it very difficult to obtain the career that they want because they have a criminal record.  A criminal record could hold them back from the career that they want and the home that they want and the style of life that they want.

A career with the government may indeed be out of the question for someone who has a criminal record.  That is actually a very wide range of career choices that are not out of reach because a stupid mistake was made and a criminal record now exists for that person.  Someone may be limited to jobs that they really do not wish to do in order to pay their bills and to support their family.  Their entire way of living could either change or not even exists as they had once dreamed because of a criminal record.

So how can a person change that criminal record and make their life the way that it should be again?  Easy, they would have to contact an attorney and have their criminal record expunged.  Now you may ask exactly what does having a criminal record expunged do for someone.  Well it basically makes it so their criminal record does not exist.  The criminal record is sealed and can only be opened by a court order from a judge.  That means that they can answer that they do not have any kind of criminal record and not really be lying to anyone.  Having a criminal record expunged means that they can go after the career of their dreams and no one can stop them.  It means that their lives can become “normal” again and they can live it the way that they had always dreamed of living their life.

You must start the expunging process by contacting a lawyer and that is the first step.  Your attorney will be able to tell exactly what you need to do in order to have your criminal record expunged and to make sure that your life returns to what it is supposed to be.  There are some requirements that are important to fulfill and your attorney will be able to give you all of the information about that process.

A criminal record can really harm you and the way that you live your life.  It is bad enough that you had to pay for the mistake that you made but should you have to pay your whole life?  If you do not think that you should then contact an attorney today and find out how you can have your criminal record expunged.

Have your criminal record expunged and stop your past from haunting you. - Posted at 03:43 on 2008-Oct-27 by Duncan Carver

Does your past haunt you?  Do you have a criminal record that holds you back from many things?  Are you embarrassed about a criminal record you obtained years ago?  Did you know that you may be able to have your criminal record sealed?  Did you also know that once your criminal record is sealed or expunged it is like you do not even have a criminal record anymore?

You see when you have a criminal record sealed it basically means that the criminal record does not exist anymore.  Of course it is still there but no one can access it unless so ordered by a court and that only happens in the most extreme cases.  Having a criminal record expunged also means that whenever you fill out an application and they ask you if you have ever been convicted of a crime you can now legally say yes.  As far as the public record goes you no longer have a criminal record.

Now some people may ask why this is even necessary but for those people who have a criminal record it is easily understood.  Having a criminal record can stop you from many different things in your life.  Having a criminal record may hold you back from getting the job that you want to support yourself and to help support your family, or it may stop you from following the career you have always dreamed about.  A criminal record may keep you from renting the house that you wanted or the apartment that you wanted.  A criminal record may cause you great embarrassment when a potential employer asks you why you were arrested and convicted of a crime.  There are so many different ways that a criminal record can come back and haunt you even if it has been many years since the crime was committed.

So how do you go about having your criminal record expunged?  First of all you must contact an attorney.  In many states like California and Nevada among a few you must always have an attorney for this action.  There are many attorneys available especially in California so it should not be hard to find an attorney to help you to start the process of having your criminal record sealed.  Once you have an attorney they will let you know if you meet the requirements of having the criminal record sealed.

There are a number of requirements that must be met when it comes to having your criminal record sealed and if they are not met you may have to wait, but your attorney can tell you about that in more detail.  One of the first and one of the most important requirements is that during the crime that you committed no one was injured or no loss of life took place.  If there was any kind of injury to anyone as a result of your crime then you may have to seek other ways around it and that is why an attorney is so very important.  You must have also fulfilled all of the necessary punishments and fines that were handed out as a result of your crime.

Those are just two of the several important requirements that must be met when looking to have your criminal record sealed.  Contacting an attorney as soon as possible can certainly help to speed up the whole process and it should be done as quickly as it possibly can.  Having your criminal record expunged can truly change your life and it should be considered seriously.  Contact an attorney today to get your process going and have your criminal record sealed.  Stop your past from coming back to haunt you anymore.

How your criminal record can affect you and how you may not even know it. - Posted at 06:58 on 2008-Oct-15 by Duncan Carver

You would never guess exactly how many people really do have a criminal record.  A criminal record can be acquired for anything at all that has any kind of legal repercussions. Any kind of criminal activity at all can land you with a criminal record.  Now most people think of a criminal record belonging to a life time criminal or someone who has been in and out of jail numerous times but the truth is a totally “normal” soccer mom could have a criminal record and no one would ever guess.

For people who have criminal records it is very hard for them to have a normal kind of life.  They have their criminal record hanging over their heads all of the time.  Even if they have already paid their dues and it may have been a few years ago a criminal record can still affect their daily lives all of the time.  The only way to get rid of a criminal record is to have that criminal record expunged.  In order for a criminal record to be expunged you must first contact a lawyer.

There are many reasons for someone to have a criminal record expunged.  A criminal record can really affect a person when they are trying to find a job or to find a place to live or even a loan of some kind.  People take a criminal record very seriously.  Potential employers are not supposed to judge a person because they have a criminal record and the job application typically ask you to explain if there is a criminal record of some kind but in all honesty, an employer will see a criminal record and not really want to hire you.  This can seriously affect how a person can survive.  Not getting a job because of a criminal record can mean devastation for a family that desperately needs that income.  Again it is not right for an employer to not hire someone because of a criminal record but it happens all of the time and there are many people that will not get the job because they do have a criminal record under them.  Think about it if you were the employer and you had two people put in an application, and they were both equally qualified to do the job but one had the criminal record, which applicant would you choose?  That is something that happens every day to people because they have a criminal record.

The same can be said for finding a place to live.  There are many people who will want to rent an apartment or a house and they will not be able to due to the fact that they have a criminal record.  Many home owners and property management companies will not want to rent to someone that has a criminal record if they have the option to rent the dwelling to someone who does not have a criminal record.  It can be very discouraging to someone who has the criminal record.

The best way to handle a criminal record is to see if you can have it expunged.  By contacting an attorney then you will be able to see if you are even able to get a criminal record expunged.   Not every criminal record can be expunged and it may be that you might not be able to have your criminal record expunged.  There are certain requirements that need to be met in order for your criminal record to be expunged.  By finding an attorney and speaking with them you will know if you can have the criminal record expunged and what you need to do in order to meet those requirements.

Expunging a criminal record can help you live your life again. - Posted at 10:59 on 2008-Oct-9 by Duncan Carver

Are you one of the many people who have a criminal record?  Are you aware that a criminal record can seriously damage your chances of obtaining employment or obtaining a place to live?  Criminal records can seriously hurt your chances of getting a loan for a home or other purposes.  Criminal records can affect people in many negative ways.

There are some people who hear the words criminal record and they automatically get a picture of the type of person that they think you are and you have now been judged and at times it can be an unfair judgment that is passed upon you.  Criminal records do not tell someone what kind of person you are and you may have just been in a bad situation or made a poor decision which resulted in a criminal record.  There are of course people that truly deserve their criminal record but then there are those people who get lost in the sea of criminal records and can not move on with their lives.

It is not as hard as you might think it is to obtain a criminal record these days.  A bad decision like driving under the influence or some kind of disturbance can easily cause someone to have a criminal record that will last them their life time.  For those people that have had a rough time after receiving a criminal record they may want to look into having their criminal record expunged.  A criminal record that is expunged is basically a criminal record that has been sealed.  The criminal record will no longer exist unless so ordered by a court to be re opened.

Many people do not realize how a negative criminal record can affect a person’s life and that if it is at all possible why they should have their criminal record expunged.  When you have a criminal record expunged you can stop worrying about not getting the job that you wanted so badly or about not getting that home that you and your family so desperately desired.  Expunging a criminal record can mean a whole new start to someone’s life.

In order to have a criminal record expunged you would need to contact an attorney right away.  This will take a bit of research on your part but it will be worth it in the end.  You want to make sure that you get a good attorney and not just someone who wants to take your money and let you wait for years before you see any type of results.  Getting a criminal record expunged can be a bit of a process at times but it is seriously worth it in the end.  So make sure that you look around and research the best attorney for the job.  You may want to make sure that you obtain an attorney that has had a good record with expunging of criminal records.  This way you are sure that you will have an attorney that knows exactly what they are doing.

When looking for an attorney you may need to use the internet to find a number of different attorneys and then research those attorneys so you know which one will be the best for you and your situation.  If you criminal record is in a different state than the state in which you reside in you will have to obtain an attorney from the state where the criminal record exists.  This is why the internet can be such a very important tool.  It can make finding an attorney out of state easy when looking to have a criminal record expunged.  Remember that the time that you invest will be well worth it when you have your criminal record expunged and are able to live your life again.

If You Are A One Time Offender You Must Read This - Posted at 08:52 on 2008-Sep-7 by Duncan Carver

Go through life with a criminal record is no cake walk, there are so many things that you are going to deal with that will make things that are generally difficult even worse. Don’t get me wrong here if you commit a crime no matter how big or small that it might be there should be consequences to it. This doesn’t mean that you should suffer for such an extended amount of time especially if it was your first time.

People make mistakes, sometimes you drink a little too much and then make a poor decision to get behind the wheels of a car. We all know that you get into a lot of trouble for drinking and driving. It’s dangerous not only to you but everyone else on the road with you, so you should have to get more then a warning unfortunately. This doesn’t mean that you would do it again, but if you ever did think about it all you would need to do is remember how life was getting locked up for the night, and how you had to go before the judge in the morning. Not to mention that you now have a criminal record.

When you go through your days with a criminal record you face many hardships such as getting a job. Most employers will turn you away because of your criminal record, and it doesn’t matter what you did to get it. Some employers will even fire you once they find out that you got a criminal record. You are look at as if you are a liability because you broke the law. Colleges will turn you away as well for the same reasons. So things get really hard and it gets hard for you to improve your life. It’s really easy to get down and out when life becomes this difficult. But there’s hope for you, even if you can’t see that right now I can promise you that there is hope.

One way that you can improve your life is by going to a lawyer and discussing if you are a candidate for criminal record expungement. This is the key to making your criminal record disappear and giving you back the ability to land a good job with a high paying salary, or get into college so that you can land that big job and start making big money.

By getting your criminal record expunged your record will get sealed and no body will be able to see that you have one or that you ever had one. This is going to open up many doors for you and give you back your life. Criminal record expungement helps mostly the people that have committed a crime and would never commit another one. This is not for people that have been in and out of jail or that ha committed a few crimes. Although if you have committed small crimes and have not committed any other’s for many years you might be able to get your record sealed.

In order to begin the process of getting your criminal record expunged you will need to first talk with a lawyer. They are really the only one’s that are going to be able to tell you if you qualify for this because there are a bunch of criteria that you must meet in order to qualify.

It’s about time that you stop dealing with the hassles that come along with having a record and begin getting your life back on track.
